Jamie Lisa

 

Jamie Lisa‘s focus is still life, particularly fruit and flowers.  She uses a unique technique and style to her oil paintings.  Her technique involves richly textured oils on canvas or board with a unique blend of pallet knife work combined with combined with thick brush-strokes.

 

Jamie Lisa says, “I’m really a colorist and love to blend my colors together.  The rich jewel tones of my work are the yellows and oranges of Spain and Morocco and the olives and crimsons of the Mediterranean.  The happy placement of my paintings, seem to narrate life’s journeys.  They tell stories of being together and creating identity.”
