Michael Rozenvain Michael Rozenvain was born in 1963 in Kiev in the Ukraine. He studied art in Kiev and subsequently attended the Lvov Academy of Applied Art. In 1990, Rozenvain participated in numerous international on-man shows and group exhibitions. At the same time, he has created monumental pieces in hotels and libraries. Rozenvain’s work engages the viewer at first sight. His compositions dance with lightness, sensuality, and a variety of texture. From pale water colored areas to bold accents of bright gold, there is a depth and vibrancy to his studies. Nowhere is this more evident than in his rendition of flowers as they depict natural beauty, which Rozenvain translates with a unique sensuality. His Mediterranean views, cafes, orchestras, and more, cause his canvasses to resonate with life, music and dance. The subject matter causes a viewer’s imagination to come alive. His works integrate the sunshine of the Mediterranean scene with his Russian background in music and nostalgic scenes. His beautiful lyrical works and rich warm colors evoke musical compositions in their movement and complexity. |
